Há mais ou menos um ano, integrantes de bandas da capital de Porto Alegre resolveram juntar-se e montar uma nova banda que mistura violência e traumas causados por dogmas da sociedade. Fazem parte da Ashes o professor de guitarra e violão, André Freitas, na guitarra solo, acompanhado ainda por Mayer (Ex-6sicks6) nos vocais, Cabeça (Fiend Club - The Misfits Cover) na guitarra base, Dudu (Ex-RooTsnR) no baixo e Léo (Ex-Burning Brain) na bateria. Numa variação de MetalCore passando por pegadas DeathCore, a ASHES promete que, durante os shows, nenhuma cabeça irá ficar parada.
